The "GURUS" Are Right.

Goal setting works. Positive motivation programs and affirmations work. But (and this is the KEY) they ONLY work for those who have made an inner - hidden - decision that these goals or affirmations are possible or desireable! "Inner programs" are actually a combination of millions of such decisions that make our life work . . . or NOT work. And, sadly, NO amount of postive repetition will change that.

Even the Motivational "Gurus" have been where we are physically, mentally and emotionally. They KNOW what it's like to come from nothing and make it happen. What they DON'T KNOW, however is that most people like you and me lack "the fire in the belly" they speak of so often . . . a combination of hidden decisions that give them the very good reason for doing what they do.

THAT ONE ELEMENT (the VERY good reason) is the key to either success or failure. And MOST people don't have it, don't know where to get it, and, quite frankly, don't have ACCESS to the decisions that give rise to it.

The Motivation Industry is HUGE

The goal-and-motivation business is prospering, especially when times are tough. There is a lot of money to be made from showing people just like you and me how to overcome hardship and rise to the top.

HOW MANY TIMES have you - out of desperation and a sense of impending doom - jumped on the latest-and-greatest-motivational-speaker-teacher Home Study Course, only to realize you will never do THIS one either! You won't open this glossy package any more than you did the OTHER 327 glossy home study courses, tapes, videos, CD's and books now sitting in the corner of your garage!

BUT WE BUY IT ANYWAY because, quite frankly,

The Motivation Dilemma

There are two types of "Motivation Gurus," - Those who teach others motivation and self-help techniques and methods. They are:

• The REAL folks with a BURNING DESIRE to achieve their goals; and
• All the others.

The First Group

These are the Real McCoy. They are the Success Gurus who have really made it and have the knowledge to show others how to get there. They had, or by some grace or luck, developed that seed form of success - the feeling of being SUCCESSFUL INSIDE before they ever made it on the OUTSIDE. What they don't have, however, is a real understanding of what its like to come from that INNER PLACE OF DEFEAT - a place where, no matter what you try, you have little or no long-term motivation or drive. While you may have periodic flashes of excitement, nothing matters for long . . . a kind of low-grade depression that hangs over us like a gray cloud.

Even if the Success Coach came from that defeated place, he or she would not necessarily know HOW they got out of it, or how to teach others how to escape it. They either belief EVERYBODY has this seed desire, or can get it with enough persistence. Trouble is, if you don't have the desire in the first place, persistence won't happen either! It's a Catch-22.

The Second Group

These folks are not yet truly successful - or may never be! They live under the same gray cloud we do, but have somehow convinced themselves to "Fake It Till You Make It" and sell YOU the same positive-motivation-goal-setting-affirmation-miracle package of goods they used to get nowhere. Most of these programs are re-hashed material they cobbled together from bits and pieces of other programs. If they appear to have "made it," it is part of the illusion. They might be able to surround themselves with fancy stuff, but deep down they feel like a fraud and have little or nothing to teach us.

THE SECRET

The real secret is that while our Success in Life is governed largely by what the motivation gurus call our Burning Desire, our desire is governed by the Hidden Decisions we made that at an early age that determine our path in life.

An All-Too Common Story

Hi, my name is Michael Craig,

and I am NOT a motivational speaker! Far from it, actually. some friends say I could even put a hyper-active Chihuahua to sleep! But it wasn't always this way. I really had an active, joyous and creative childhood.

Now my life works.

I've come a long, long way. I now have a truly loving relationship with Brigitte - my lovely wife of over 14 years who admits we would NOT be together without this work!
