The 9 Hidden Laws of Attraction

Posted by: Michael Craig | Comments Comments Off

Hidden Laws of Attraction

You are familiar with the Law of Attraction, right?  You know, that thing about  what you think of and intend will manifest in your life.  This is the subject of The Secret and dozens of books on the same subject.

But how many of you know that there are NINE HIDDEN LAWS that determine whether or not you are actually attracting what you CONSCIOUSLY intend?  No?  Not surprising, since I’ve only uncovered them over the past several years.

Want to change your life for real? Want to overcome the “stinkin’ thinkin” and negative impulses that feed failure and produce problems?  Read on.

As you may have found out through trial and error, this “attraction thing” can be tricky.  One errant thought and POOF!  There goes your abundance, relationship or health.  One bad judgment and POOF!  There goes your self-confidence and trust in this so-called Law of Attraction.

That’s because the Law of Attraction is composed of 9 other HIDDEN Laws . . . ones that only become apparent when you are guided to them and shown how they work.

But again, ignorance of the law is no excuse.  Just as gravity has no mercy on those who walk off cliffs without knowing, so too do the 9 Laws of Attraction thrash those who ignore their warnings.

Over the next several weeks, I will give you an in-depth preview of an upcoming book called The 9 Hidden Laws That Can Change Your Life: How to Harness the Laws of Attraction Without Programming the Subconscious Mind Using Affirmations, Tapping, Rituals or Hypnosis.

These articles will be part of the book, will provide valuable tools and insights, and will surely change the way you currently think about personal success and motivation.  I want to give you the tools you need to succeed – really succeed – not just think you are succeeding!

Stay tuned.  And give me your feedback please!

logical soul bookAs you may know by now I am a former chiropractor/acupuncturist, meditation instructor, and author of The Logical Soul (available through  Amazon). I wanted to start sharing my story in some future posts, since many have asked me how I got started.  So today I’ll give you an overview.

I taught meditation (TM) back in the 70′s and became a chiropractor in 1983.  As a doctor, I came in touch with – and learned – most of the techniques developed for my profession, and was considered by most others to be a good and capable doctor.

Despite my care and diligence, however, I noticed over the years that results from adjustments and other techniques were hard to come by.  Through no apparent fault of my own, results were often mixed, marginal, or frustrating.  While I was able to affect positive changes in more than half of those I saw, I was hard-pressed to determine (if I were completely honest) that these changes would not have happened on their own without my intervention!

The ones who didn’t respond to treatment caused me the most concern.  These patients would often return with the same ailments or problems, despite my treatments, and often despite their having been to dozens of other practitioners, therapists and psychologists.

After years of trial and error, I was able to narrow the deeper cause of disease to memories and patterns in the mind and nervous system.  There seemed to be an underlying self-sabotage going on that patients didn’t know about, and that frustrated all my attempts to override.

To find the remedy I dove into more psychology-based studies like hypnosis, visualization, meditation, affirmations, and other behavior modification techniques, looking for answers to help my patients get better faster.  Yet even after treating these underlying “causes” the problems still came back.

Years later I finally had to admit that the main reason things like hypnosis and visualization seldom worked is because there was a lack of coordination and cooperation between these things we call the “conscious” and “subconscious” minds.  In fact, they often seemed to be at war with one another.

Further research led me to conclude that the so-called “subconscious mind” was actually a living being with its own awareness, logic and motives. It was, therefore, separate and distinct from our conscious “being,” the one we normally think of as “I” or “me” . . . the one who thinks and makes conscious decisions.  As so-called “individuals” we seem to actually be TWO people inhabiting a single body – a type of psychic Siamese twin without each of them knowing the other existed, except as some vague abstraction!

You see, we in the western world have a habit of looking on our subconscious mind as a “thing” to be overruled or circumvented.  I found, however, that the results seldom follow when techniques based on this approach such as hypnosis, affirmations, and other direct programming methods, are used.

Then back in 1991 I accidentally discovered the key to accessing the subconscious being without hypnosis or other tricks we normally use to bypass our conscious defenses.  I also discovered this inner being has its own intelligence – and knows ALL our tricks!  It was very much alive.

Upon digging deeper, I found that Hawaiian Huna cosmology matched my discoveries to a “T,” and that behavior modification can only happen with this cooperation and synthesis between these inner and outer beings.  There has to be a good enough reason – both inside AND outside – for our lives to really change!

We don’t need to program our subconscious mind . . . we only needed to get his or her permission! I called the method of finding deepest motivations and changing the decisions related to the The Logical Soul®.

Most people don’t have access to the deeply-rooted hidden decisions that run their lives. These “matrix decisions” were laid down at the same time our bodies and nervous systems were forming.  Using Applied Kinesiology (AK) and various modes discovery and access, I have been able to find and change hidden matrix decisions with remarkable results.

How to Fail by Using Affirmations

Posted by: Michael Craig | Comments Comments Off

HelpDo you really think that yelling some affirmation to your spouse over and over again will make a difference in his or her behavior?

No?  Then why do we persist in doing  this same thing to our subconscious mind – the source of all feelings, memory, and unlimited intelligence and wisdom?  Our conscious mind can only direct (and is really pretty stupid).

Contrary to popular psychology and positive-motivation-teaching, the subconscious is not a “thing” that can be manipulated or turned on or off like some light switch.  It is the source of all our knowledge and power, and is wise to all our tricks.  If there were a decision made to limit money or income, it is because this is a “prime directive” that was given very early in your life that governs your actions and where you are right now!

If you really want to fail at finances, try this:  repeat “I am rich and wealthy beyond my wildest dreams.”  Do this over and over for a month.  After that period is over, one of two things will happen:

  1. You’ll discover untapped sources of creativity and wealth within yourself, or
  2. You will feel more frustrated than ever.

Obviously, the first scenario is the one whose picture is presented by all the self-made millionaire gurus out there.  They tell you that by repeating positive thoughts over and over again you get into the habit of success and money. The Law of Attraction and all that…

There’s only one problem: most self-made millionaires came into this world with – or developed at an early age – an inner resolve that can overcome any obstacle. This IS their prime directive. Without it, nobody can succeed.  WITH it, anyone can perform money miracles.  That’s why affirmations work for them, and why they think it can work for everyone.  But it doesn’t.

True, most self-made millionaires had multiple challenges and often poor upbringings.  But they also have what most of us don’t have – that “iron resolve,” “fire in the belly” or “inner direction” that eludes those of us who see failure as an option over and over again.

Given this scenario, affirmations work wonders for those with an inner resolve. For those of us less endowed, however, affirmations can only dig a deeper hole in our psyche.  Here’s how a typical inner conversation might go:

“I am rich and wealthy…”

“Are you kidding?”

“I am rich and wealthy…”

“No you’re not.  You have thirty dollars in the bank and are in debt up to your eyeballs!”

“I am rich and wealthy…”

“Do you want to fail like your brother did?  This is crazy talk.”

“I am rich and wealthy…”

“Tell you what say that one more time and I’ll NEVER let you be ‘rich and wealthy!!’”

“I am rich and …”

You get the idea.  BAM!  Failure strikes despite all your conscious good intentions.  The thing is, you’ve got to speak to your subconscious “self” the same way you would to a powerful friend or servant.  It will do your bidding . . . but only if there is no prime directive opposing it!

Go easy on the affirmations. Take baby steps.  Celebrate small successes each day.  Then your subconscious will reward you with greater and greater trust.

The Hidden Wisdom of the Body

Muscle Testing

Muscle Testing or Applied Kineseology

There is a vast reservoir of intelligence, power and soul deep within each of us.  This power and this soul are very logical.  Our right brains actually have both the ability AND motivation to make things happen at will.

Contrary to popular belief, emotions and logic are not opposed to one another.  They’re not mutually exclusive.  But they must come to the same conclusions in order to work well together . . . to agree to the same life decisions.

I’ve found in my years of work as a chiropractor, patients were not getting better.  I used to agonize over this failure: “Why aren’t they getting well?  I’m doing all the right things.  My technique is flawless.  They’re eating all the right things!”  Everything on the surface seemed to be falling into place, but on some deep level the desired results were being blocked.

So what was I missing?

At the time I was practicing something called applied kinesiology (AK). For those of you not aware of this process is simply called “muscle testing,” a simple built-in biofeedback mechanism that anyone can learn to use.

Try muscle testing with a partner, spouse or friend.  Test any convenient muscle – say an arm muscle – by holding up their arm while using a few fingers to press on the arm after saying “Hold.”  If their arm tests strong (i.e., does not give under the pressure), that indicates a “yes” by the body.  If the arm tests slightly weaker or rubbery (i.e., goes down), this may indicate a negative finding.

By testing this way, I was able to get feedback from the body that either this is a yes or a no (or “not yes”).

Many doctors and therapists use this technique to get feedback from the mind/body to determine hidden incompatibility disorders, i.e.

(a) a certain substance or vitamin is good for the body or

(b) this substance or vitamin is not good for the body.

I started using muscle testing for a different reason.  I wanted to test for overall congruence of personal statements and affirmations.

After testing this way for several years, I became aware that the “yes” and “no” answers from the body begin to follow a predictable pattern.  There was a kind of Morse code being transmitted here.  It was as if our subconscious mind – mine and the patient’s – were instantly revealing a sub-stratum of thoughts and decisions we had never known before.

Excited, I started testing more and more on people.  I also avoided attending other seminars and workshops while doing this research.  I wanted to find out what the body, subconscious, or right brain was saying to me directly . . . NOT what someone else told me they were saying.

I learned that the body gathers up the sum total of all inner decisions and generates an outcome, either “yes” or “no.”  I also learned that the answers to these statements told of the immediate outer condition of the person as it pertained to the particular statement.

If, for example, you had problems with money, statements like “I choose to be a millionaire” would test false (weak).  If you actually had the capacity within yourself to become a millionaire, however, that statement would be true (strong).

More trials and errors led me to find the secret to discovering the access to any inner (hidden) decision AND change them to be in alignment with current stated goals and affirmations.

Author’s Note: I use A.K. for a particular limited purpose of affirmation feedback, and neither condone nor condemn its use for other purposes.  Obviously, any technique so open to interpretation should be considered experimental and not relied on solely as a regimen to diagnose and treat serious diseases or disorders. Consult with your physician or primary health practitioner before undertaking any such regimen.

Gina Gaudio-Graves

Gina Gaudio-Graves

My interview today with Gina Gaudio Graves comes at a very auspicious time.

The economy sucks.  People are unemployed and depressed.  Now the good news:  Gina has as close to a “magic bullet” for this nonsense as anyone I’ve run across!

Not only is Ms Graves one of the best – if not THE best – bloggers and joint venture marketers on the Internet (she’s the “JV Queen”), but the topic is timely for my Logical Soul Talk listeners who need both meaning and cash in their lives.  So if you don’t have a clue on how to get started, tune in.  The show airs tonight at 6 pm ET at http://blogtalkradio.com/logicalsoul or you can join in by calling 347-843-4544.

Gina is a former lawyer and litigator whose world literally came crashing down around her after a serious auto accident in 1996.  After a ten-year “recuperation,”  she was then given 6 months to live by her doctor.  What followed after these tragic events is the stuff of legend.

I won’t spoil the story for you, but will tell you that Ms. Graves is still alive (and mostly well) and is the founder and Dean of Directions University at www.directionsu.com.  This online university offers a number of inspiring courses for anyone – experts OR beginners – interested in actually making money online.  She doesn’t inflate the earning numbers or give you pie-in-the-sky.  Just the facts, Ma’am.

Don’t miss this show!

Greetings.

I just finished a great book called My Stroke of Insight by Jill Bolte Taylor, PhD (Viking Books, 2006).  Dr. Taylor was a 37-year old Harvard-trained brain scientist when she had a massive stroke in 1996 that damaged the entire left hemisphere of her brain.

This is a unique story about a very rare event – a brain scientist having a brain breakdown and recovery, so Dr. Taylor has a very unqiue perspective on what this event means, and can compare it with what she knew before the stroke, compared with her direct experiences AFTER the stroke.  The findings are astounding.

In the book she writes that it took over eight years to recover. With the help of dozens of caretakers she was eventually able to relearn everything she ever knew and “get back” some of what she had lost.    She also found she could discard much of what she knew before – in her “past life” that no longer served her, e.g., negative emotions and thoughts that damaged the sensitive circuitry of her wounded brain.

Most of the book covers the different funtions of the right and left hemispheres.  The left is very judgmental and divise – its nature, of course.  The right brain, on the other hand, embraces universality, feelings, and a sense of ‘knowing that cannot be discerned by the other half.

These observations fit almost exactly with the model the Hawaiian Kahunas described as the LOW SELF (Ku) and MIDDLE SELF (Uhane), and of course correlate with modern brain science.  What Dr. Taylor discovered as a so-called victim, however, was soemthign she said she could have NEVER learned as a scientist – that there is also a distinct difference in VALUES between the two hemispheres! (p. 133)

If this is so – and she reports it is – then there are TWO FORCES within us, each striving for dominance on any given issue.  If the right brain wants to feel happiness, it may CHOOSE failure instead of success if it deems that a certain activity or job selected by the left brain is wrong.

This is the basis of the SEED OF FAILURE – that someone with a strong SOF has equal parts left and right brain values that fight each other constantly.  While this might seem to be a hopeless situation, its not.  The Logical Soul(tm) techniques have the ability to synchronize these two parts of the brain and give you a certain peace in KNOWING that your goals, dreams and affirmations ARE in fact true for you.

Present tense:  BE the goal you set for yourself and RESOLVE any hidden goal-to-action conflicts.  You are then on your way to true success.
