Psychic First Aid for Hidden Decisions
Posted by: | Comments
What do you do when a strong feeling or anxiety strikes . . . and you don’t know your “hidden decisions”? You know that something’s going on with your body, your mind, or your feelings, but don’t know how to “fix” it?? Fear not. Help is here.
For over 18 years, Brigitte and I have been doing Logical Soul(tm) sessions with each other to clear our hidden decisions and influences that guide our lives. While it is ideal to get access to – and resolve – these decisions during regular sessions, life is not always so accommodating. It often comes at you with the speed of a runaway train. In times like these, you need some “psychic first aid” . . . and quickly!
For example, my wife often comes home from work with some “baggage” she picked up from her office co-workers, friends or family. This problem usually manifests itself as a sudden fear, anxiety, resentment or aloofness. Within a few minutes, however, we are usually able to muscle test, isolate and release the “stuff,” and return her to normalcy. Our rule of thumb is this: If we are not happy, it must be stuff.
Another example: I awoke this morning around 4:30 AM . . . only to discover it was actually 3:30 AM due to the time change. I felt a bit strange, but not enough to awaken Brigitte. So I decided to get up and check it out myself with some quick self-testing.
Heartburn? Heart attack? Nope. Nope. I exercise regularly, have a great nutritional regimen, and don’t drink or smoke. Check . OK, OK I admit it . . . I do eat much too late sometimes – including sweets – while grabbing the latest Fox news item or smarmy chick flick my wife just got from Netflicks. But not last night. So what gives?
Memes? Check.
Low Self. Nope.
Earth-bound? Nada.
Ancestral? Negative.
Body. Check
Hmmm. Two out of five. Too much TV too late. Unresolved stuff churning around inside. I cleared myself and quickly felt much better. So I lay back down, and closed my eyes to try a little more of that sleep thing. No go. Although I was clear and felt OK, I still couldn’t sleep. I eventually got up and started writing this blog post. I guess you needed to have this information . . . and I’ve been holding out on you too long.
I must finally admit a deep, dark truth: there are forces within and without you that influence your thinking, feeling, and decisions.
“Duh, Michael I know that! . . .” you say. Yes, I admit this is all rather elementary. But did you know how MUCH these forces affect you? Which parts of your being? Did you know you can also release these influences at any time? In or around the mid-90′s I discovered (with the help of my wife and some friends) that there are separate and distinct centers of intelligence that can be affected . . . and therefore affect our happiness and ability to succeed in life:
The conscious mind is affected by MEMES, or “mind viruses” that we pick up from TV, radio, gossip, and even simple communication. The effects usually manifest as a slight change in personality. The Lono, “Middle Self” or conscious mind is involved, so memes are relatively easy to release (unless they are tied in deeper, as to a survival decision). Just be aware and let go of the decision to hold them.
The so-called subconscious mind is largely affected by the unseen forces of both individual and collective feelings, impressions and memories that impress themselves on our Ku or “Low Self.” These influences are usually hidden and require more of a self-awareness of your usual “normal” state of feeling and being. Once known, however, these, too, can be released.
The subconscious influence is vast and multi-pronged. So-called “attacks” can come in various forms, e.g., as follows:
Other people’s Low Selves – We often pick up “negative vibes,” i.e., strong, unresolved feelings that others may feel but do not express. Their low self, however, feels less restricted and often “jumps ship,” as it were, into our own aura or subtle awareness.
Earth-bound – These are personality or low self impressions from the deceased that remain unresolved and hang around.
Ancestral - This influence can be from our own ancestors (most likely) or from other people’s ancestors as well. Ancestral spirits are akin to earth-bound, but runs a bit deeper since we ARE the product of our ancestors!
The “Body Spirit” is usually a physical sensation in the head or the gut, but can present itself in any part of the body. This is often (I suspect) the result of your Ku kicking around unresolved “complexes” inside, and causing discomfort. It could be the result of poor diet, too little water intake, and/or hyper-acidity brought about by worry, fear or resentment. By releasing the concern, you are essentially telling your Low Self to “cool it” for awhile.
Less commonly, body upsets might be triggered by things like electro-magnetic or geo-magnetic disturbances, extra-low frequency (ELF) emissions, sun-spots, x-rays or cosmic radiation, and/or other outside disturbances. If the problem persists, these factors – or poor health – may be the cause.
The only other disturbances can come from this thing we call “Karma.” Karma is neutral – it means “action” – and is often visited upon us in ways we cannot fathom. In such situations, prayer, as taught by the Huna, is the best way to resolve this. The Aumakua or “High Self” is the one who “rains down benefits,” either good or bad. These “benefits were at one time ordered by the Middle Self and then delivered by the Low Self. The High Self is simply delivering!
Sometimes you’ve worked long and hard to rid yourself of individual fears and complexes. You’ve done sessions, cleared your “stuff,” and still life hits you. What to do? In cases like this there are no decisions – hidden or otherwise – that you can change. The only decision you can make is simply to request that it be released, then trusting in GRACE (or however you picture GOD) to do the rest . . .
This last step sounds simple, and it is. The fact remains, however, that until you are aware of the distinctions that form the uniqueness of each “self,” you will have difficulty letting go of the sickness, violence, overwhelm or confusion that grips you if you don’t know the source.
By the way, I don’t know HOW this “psychic first aid” works . . . I just know that it does! Learn how to use muscle testing until you feel comfortable telling the difference without it.
Socrates said “Know thyself.” Make the above distinctions as a way to firmly grasp this knowledge.
If You Ain’t Happy Honey, It’s Just “Stuff” . . .
Posted by: | CommentsI remember the “stuff” lecture from the old black woman in Savannah who used to cook and clean for a friend of mine. It seems like every time I was there, old Frederica – we called her “Freddie” – would throw out some pearl of wisdom based on her long and hard life that I now consider priceless.
Freddie was always smiling. She took life with a grain of salt and a pinch of mustard, then added her own sweet flavoring to shake and bake her experiences. And we loved her for it. Whenever there was a pressing problem, crisis, tragedy or upset, she would usually wave her hand in the air as if to wipe it away.
“They ain’t no reason to get your drawers in a wad honey,” she advised,
“Things has a way a comin’ and goin’ . . .”
And she was right. Just like a heavy fog settling in over our brains, “stuff” has a way of confusing us, upsetting us, confounding us, and hypnotizing us to believe its actually real. But its usually not.
“Stuff” – as I define it – is a type of negative energy, flotsam, jetsam or what the Ghostbusters called “etheric slime” that comes along and sticks to our brains and nervous systems. These hidden decisions are easily able to spread and multiply, primarily because our ego associates these functions as “me,” “mine,” or “ours.” Because of the “mine” blinders, we fail to see this as some kind of invading energy or force that may or may not have anything to do with us!
“Stuff” may have come by simply walking into a room after a big fight, for example, and you feel “weird” or “angry.” It may also have been directed at us consciously or subconsciously from other people when their emotional conflicts, ancestral beliefs, or cultural obsessions spill over.
“Memes” or mind viruses – are like this, but the meme is primarily a conscious factor that can be traced back to some statement or construct. For example, You may have heard some catchy jingle, a particularly political point of view, or an ad about “the starving children” that triggers your emotions. These are all advertising gimmicks that harness the power of the emotions to make you act.

Grandma's Stuff. Ancestral Keepsake?
“Stuff,” on the other hand, is a deeper, more universal manifestation of memes. It is usually not directed at you per se, but exists on its own – like a Venus flytrap waiting for its victim – the fly – to arrive. Once you experience these archetypal traps you’re gone, i,e., caught in a web of emotion that comes over you like waves on the beach. You are snared.
As soon as you become aware of them, the fears of your dead ancestors, the anger and resentment of a total stranger, or the horror and blank stares from victims of terrorism grab you and don’t let go. Most of the time this Stuff happens by subconscious transference, but even if you know what is happening, it still gets you!
So long as you consider these are YOUR thoughts and YOUR feelings, you will hold on to them with conviction and reverence. I remember this happened for years after my father died. I was gripped in a type of self-righteous anger that used to be his trademark expression.
It took me YEARS to finally come to grips with this malaise based on some misguided (and subconscious) decision to honor him. I finally released it, but the toll it took on my financial and personal life during those years was staggering.
There is a way out of the stuff. My wife and I do it daily, and you can too: discover the source of your emotional trigger, acknowledge it, sometimes get permission from it, then let it go. It takes practice, but hey! What else do you have to do??
Just don’t get your drawers in a wad.
Tiger Woods: 50% Off . . .
Posted by: | Comments
Or half . . . whichever is less. Tiger Woods action figures. Right.
The man’s personal life is in shambles. Whether or not his professional life takes a hit remains to be seen. Sponsors are backing out just as more women and hookers are coming out. On thing is certain: Tiger’s problems are his own, and do not affect my life (except that I probably wouldn’t have anything to write about today without him)!
This whole Tiger incident appears to be yet another smokescreen thrown at us to hide the shenanigans going on over at Capitol Hill. Maybe we won’t notice that the things they do over there DO affect our lives??!
News always demands a crisis, and those who understand how to use memes (politicians and their handlers) to control crises news reporting will always be in charge of the content of our wallets.
The best solution? Chill out. Relax. Turn off the news. Go to a show. Meditate. Play with your kids. Do the mental detox thing . . .
Muckraking journalism, believe it or not, has been around for hundreds – maybe thousands – of years, and will continue for a thousand more. So it won’t do any good to get all worked up about it! Just when you think journalism has sunk to a new low, remember Thomas Jefferson.
Back in 1802, the illustrious author of the Declaration of Independence was serving as our third president. It was in September of that year that journalist James T. Callender published his expose of Jefferson’s affair with his mullatto slave, Sally Hemming.
The liaison was denied by the family and others for two hundred years, but shown by DNA testing to have a basis in fact. There was indeed a connection – if not with Jefferson, then with one of his white family members.
Does this redeem James Callender? Yes, and also Jefferson as well. For it was Thomas Jefferson who wrote repeatedly that, although he detested most of what journalists of his day said about him, he would forever stand for their right to say it. Freedom of speech was his cornerstone commitment.
Let it be known that I, too, defend the rights of people (in the immortal words of author Stuart Wilde) to be as stupid as they want to be!
I also have the right NOT to listen!
Mental Pollution: The Root of Suffering
Posted by: | Comments
This is the fourth in a series of articles on Our True Mental Potential, and how and why we are not living it. In today’s article, I will cover how avoidance of – and distraction from – our highest goals and intentions creates mental pollution that clogs our synapses, dampens our spirits, and reduces access to our own power.
Pollution means that there are things in places where they have no business being. Bucky Fuller, in his highly-acclaimed book Critical Path, described pollution as being merely a displacement of useful substances into areas or systems where they inhibit those systems.
Take, for example the emission of sulpher from smokestacks. Pollution, right? Yes, to the air we breathe. However this same element is extremely useful in making sulpher compounds, drugs, explosives, fungicides, and other very helpful materials. If there were a way to cost-effectively capture the sulphur from these same smokestacks, the idea of pollution there would disappear.
Like that, mental pollution is the manifestation of thoughts, feelings, and ideas in a person who cannot thrive with these same thoughts, etc, but for some reason created them as a subconscious or hidden intent. Most negative thoughts fall into this category. “I can’t,” “It’s impossible,” and “I’m stupid” are examples of the most blatant negative thought patterns, and you can probably think of thousands more.
But these thoughts are NOT the CAUSE of the mental pollution. There is a person’s unspoken INTENT that actually spurred the thoughts to appear, like smoke from a fire. Let’s take the case of “I can’t.”
In the case of an abused child, the act of taking on a negative thought pattern is a way to survive the abuse – at least in the mind of the child. “I can’t” in some cases might be literally translated as “I won’t, because if I do I’ll get severely punished again.” This abuse pattern is usually repeated over and over again, from generation to generation.
The fact that this pattern may have started with your great-great-great grandfather does not make it any less real for you. These generational “memes” – or mind viruses - have a shelf-life bordering on forever!
Positive thinking and affirmations do not address these deeper issues, and may even cause harm to the mind of the person “trying to be positive.” If you were abused and ignore the underlying cause of the “can’t,” you will only manifest a type of mental pollution that affects your peace of mind, self-esteem, and physical and mental health.
Through an act of mental detox, you can access your true intent, come face-to-face with the true underlying decision about the abuse and/or relationship between yourself and the abuser, change that decision, and very quickly discover a lasting peace of mind.
Without mental detox, however, thoughts remain that mask or disguise your subconscious intent, and therefore keep you lost in conscious limbo. The fact is, because your conscious mind does not have access to the hidden cause of this pollution, you will remain unaware that there is even a solution!
