The Logical Soul® Method

Discovery of Access.

A unique way to bypass the biggest blocks to self-discovery.

The Logical Soul book cover

In the Logical Soul®, the ACCESS step is a totally unique way to get to the deep subconscious decisions and issues that often take weeks, months, or even years to get to using traditional talk therapy. Such therapy can be expensive, and while it is often necessary for patients who have experienced severe trauma or abuses in their lives, the majority of people don’t need to spend that much time getting to the root of most issues.

Consequently, the only real benefit of the Access step is speed and time savings. But this comes with a disclaimer: This method is NOT meant to diagnose or treat ANY disease or infirmity, and only licensed healing practitioners can use this method in their practice. That said, the use of this method for personal use only is highly recommended, but only if you are not under the care or supervision of a mental health professional, or can get permission from them to use it.

If you are learning my method for personal use and self-discovery, congratulations! You are a big proponent of finding answers quickly. This ACCESS step is no doubt the key you were looking for. But while I’m currently able to bring about life-changing results, usually in only one session, it wasn’t always like this.

Here’s the full story:

At the young age of twelve, I had an awakening experience that colored everything I did in life from that moment on. My desire to recapture this experience was what eventually led me to discover this most unique step in the Logical Soul®.

A telescope on a wooden tripod on a rooftop

As a young pre-teen, I was fascinated with astronomy. I would read everything about the stars, planets, and constellations that I could get my hands on at the library (yes, we read books in those days), and would camp out in my backyard to study the sky.

In those days, my family lived in the suburbs of Savannah, Georgia. There was no light pollution since the city was not yet large enough. Consequently I would stare at the sky during moonless nights for hours, taking note of everything I saw.

One night in early fall I lay on my back as usual, and remember having thoughts about the process of thinking itself. I wondered what it would be like to have no thoughts at all. I then began to let go of any need to remember, study, or even look for the usual star patterns.

A bright comet and stars in a dark night sky

Suddenly something happened, and to this day I can’t remember details. The sky I was watching moments ago suddenly jumped inside of me and expanded in a way I could describe as a “warp drive” view that I later saw on Star Trek.

Time stood still. But seemingly as fast as it came, the vision left me. I felt my body again and was flooded with thoughts, mostly related to the combination of fear and longing. I wanted to return to this vision, but was afraid of losing myself again. Immediately I jumped to my feet, folded up my telescope and went inside, still feeling dazed and off-center.

The feeling I remember was that everything in my life to that point had been superficial. Things that seemed important earlier in life suddenly melted into trivia. This came clear to me while walking through our living room towards my bedroom.

My mother was laughing and watching the TV comedy “Petticoat Junction” and asked me to watch it with her. I quickly declined, realizing how much my life had shifted since my experience. Once in my room, I lay on my bed and stared at the ceiling for hours, searching for some kind of meaning to my life.

This was the start of my life as a seeker. Super hero comics became an important step in trying to understand human potential. Later on I discovered hallucinogens, meditation, the study of psychology, music and chiropractic. Each progressive undertaking led me to discover more of the unseen world, culminating in the use of muscle testing to give voice to the subconscious mind or “being.”

I graduated Life Chiropractic College (now Life University) in 1983 and soon became licensed and active. But by 1992, I was burned out and decided to take a break from practice for a while.

I wanted to go into business with a friend of mine named Becky. She owned a successful software data company and wanted me to help her speak to companies about doing some consulting with them to help them improve systems flow and employee optimization. This was exciting to me at the time, being a bit of a quality process nerd at that time. I had studied business and quality methods and management with W. Edwards Deming and Marshall Thurber, and wanted to try my wings in this area.

Becky and I met at my home to go over plans for creating a partnership. I suggested we use muscle testing to discover if any issues or problems might be standing in the way of having a successful venture. I had done hundreds of muscle testing sessions as a chiropractor, so this was not new to me. Becky agreed. She was already familiar with muscle testing since she dated another chiropractor at the time.

So I first tested Becky on what I thought were very simple issues, but soon found the process getting a little bumpy and the answers were not very clear. This was not new to me. I had observed over the years that some issues were “sticky” and that further questioning often became almost impossible due to something I called “The Wall” in my book.

I had a strong desire to get our business going, however, so I found it difficult to accept the limitation of the Wall. I asked Becky if she would like me to try some things to see if they worked. She agreed to this.

It was at that moment I remembered the feeling of that night as a 12-year old. Nothing specific came to me except a single thought: “ASK THE WALL.” What happened next was that thoughts were fed to me without conscious effort. I began to ask the Wall to provide us with instructions for getting past this blockage, i.e., what was needed in order for Becky to access what was hidden in the subconscious mind.

A young boy pressing his head against a brick wall

To my surprise, the “Wall” responded – not in words, but in an explosive emotional outpouring by Becky that suddenly brought on a cascade of tears accompanied by wailing sounds. I jumped in immediately to try to calm her down, but this was a response I was not prepared to deal with!

Along with Becky, I felt quite shaken, and spent the next 2-3 hours trying everything: soothing talk, shoulder massages, acupressure, talking her down . . . anything I could do to get her stable enough to get back her sense of safety.

After this period of experimentation, Becky, while still reporting a deep sense of un-ease, felt stable enough to leave. I took a deep breath and told her to call me if she had any further problems.

That night, her chiropractic boyfriend called me and demanded “What did you do to Becky??” I said I wasn’t quite sure. I had tried something – with her permission – that got a bit out of control, but that I would work with her every day – for hours if necessary – to make sure she became stable once again.

And so I did. It took another 2-3 days to get her completely calm, at which time she was gushing with excitement while proclaiming this was the most powerful therapeutic session she had ever experienced. She strongly suggested I use this method on all my patients!

At that point, however, I definitely wasn’t ready to do that since I was still recovering from her reaction. I told her this needed some refinement, and asked her if she would like to help. She readily agreed.

So, over the next two years, Becky met with my new wife Soma, and another friend (Shona) to experiment with muscle testing, form testing affirmations, and getting Access through different resistance levels. I pursued my own research and, through a series of synchronicities, discovered various ways to SAFELY gain access, use it effectively, and shorten the whole process to less than one hour.

So, after more than 34 years of the Access discovery, and after hundreds of case testimonials, I can safely say that no one has harnessed the power of Access more effectively and efficiently than the Logical Soul®. This missing key could also become a major contributor to psychology and therapy.

Drugs are not the answer; all healing comes from within. There is a saying in Chiropractic: “Nature needs no help, just no interference,” and as experience has taught me, this applies to both the body AND mind.
